Transcom DMCC
Parent · DubaiInternational trading of fertilizers, raw materials and agri-food products.
A strategic international partner at the heart of TransfertAfrica's performance and regional leadership.
Based in Dubai, the Group trades solid and liquid fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides, agricultural raw materials, agri-food and petrochemical products — supported by offices in India, Brazil, China, Pakistan, South Africa, Sudan and West Africa.
The group has been historically linked to Senegal since the 1970s, notably through the marketing of Taïba phosphate and the supply of agricultural products and fertilizers.
"The Rahimtullah family was among the very first initiators of the Industries Chimiques du Sénégal project."
Founded in 2010 in Dubai (DMCC), Transcom is owned by the Rahimtullah (India) and Badr (Saudi Arabia) families. The Group owns its own production units in India and maintains direct contractual relationships with the world's leading producers and end users — with no intermediaries.
Present in Senegal for nearly half a century, Transcom has accompanied the birth of the national chemical industry: marketing Taïba phosphate from the 1970s, supplying ICS and other public and private operators with DAP, NPK, urea, potash and sulphur. A longevity that has built lasting relationships of trust, with states and private operators alike.
